Rachel Clarke and Mary Willmer joining the 20 other competitors. Both players had very close games in the first round of 4 games, each 45 minutes and timed.

The play-offs began after lunch with Rachel qualifying for the Cup and finishing an excellent 3rd equal against some very strong opposition. Mary qualified for the Plate and by a small margin won the final.
