Who Plays Bowls?Often considered as a sport for retirees, bowls is much more than just a pastime to while away retirement. Bowls is a game of skill and tactical thinking, once you get it, you're hooked.
We have men and women of all ages playing social and competitive events throughout the season. Our youngest member (Taui) is 11 years old and our oldest member (Gill) is nearly 90. Bowlers can choose to play singly, with a partner; or with a team and the competition is fierce but friendly. If you think you would like to try bowls to see if its for you, get in touch. We are always happy to welcome interested people because it means more opportunities to play. |
