Four players from Silverstream took part in this Melee
Ruth Bradford, Ian Richards, Rachel Clarke and Peter Matthews (who finished 2nd winning all 5 games). Congratulations Peter! Claire Bradburn played with Debbie Butler and Michelle Maxwell in the Pete Hamilton Memorial Triples on 20 and 21 November, where they finished second.

Silverstream entered four teams:
Brian and Claire Bradburn Lorraine Gray and Ian Richards Dan Harawira and Graham Jackson Rachel Clarke and Peter Matthews (Graham Jackson also entered the Shooting completion) After seeding on first day: Lorraine and Ian 16 Brian and Claire 23 Rachel and Peter 24 Dan and Graham 27 Congratulation to Lorraine and Ian being in the top 16. Plate: Lorraine and Ian lost in semis to the eventual winners. Cup: Brian and Claire beat Rachel and Peter in quarters. Dan and Graham lost in semis. Brian and Claire lost in finals in a very good game. Wellington Regional Singles were held at Levin over the weekend of 16 and 17 October.
Silverstream had 5 players completing, after the seeding round : Claire Bradburn 18th Peter Matthews 27th Graham Jackson 29th Dan Hawawira 32nd Rachel Clarke 41 There were 42 players entered. Results on second day BOWL Claire 2nd Graham lost in semi finals Dan lost in quarter finals CUP Peter lost in quarter finals GLASS Rachel lost in semis The pointing competition was held at the same time. Rachel qualified 2nd behind Michael Rocks. In the final Rachel lost to Michael. This was the second year she had finished 2nd.
A great day was had at Upper Hutt playing for the Baine Trophy on Sunday 12th September.
This is played between Silverstream, Naenae and Upper Hutt. Silverstream had 6 doubles teams, Naenae and Upper Hutt had 7. The final result was very close, with Naenae winning Upper Hutt second Silverstream 3rd (by 0.01 of a point). Congratulations to the players in their first competition. Ian Baine who the trophy was named after, recently passed away and a minute silence was held. Congratulations to Claire Bradburn for being selected for the Wellington Team to play in Auckland this weekend the 28th/29th August.
