Carlene Fitzgerald Memorial Open Doubles
20th April 2024
Carlene was a much loved and hard working member of the Otaki Club. She regularly competed in the competitions in the Wellington area. Sadly she passed away suddenly and to commemorate her passion for Petanque this competition was created and it will be held on an annual basis.
Her husband presented the prizes and gave a speech afterwards.
There were 35 doubles teams from all over the Wellington area including two from Silverstream.
Dan and Johnelle placed 25th and Peter and Rachel placed 26th.
Upper Hutt Autum Leaves Melee
28th April 2024.
The results from this were Theresa Harawira 5th, Ian Richards 6th, Lorraine Gray 10th.
There were a number of Silverstream players, however, the results published only goes to 10.
A great day was had by all those who went.
Kelly and Co Open Triples
May 4 2024
This was held at Otaki and Silverstream had two teams.
After the round robin, Braydin Seymour and Dan were 1st, Claire, Rachel and Peter were 7th.
It then went to semi finals, in which Braydin, Seymour and Dan were beaten.
Claire, Rachel and Peter made it to the finals in Group A, but were beaten into 2nd Place.
