In the annual men's challenge against Hutt on Sunday 24th September at Hutt, the result was Silverstream 12 wins Hutt 6 wins. This was a great result and bodes well for the coming interclub season.
The Hutt Valley Women’s Cup and Bowl events were played on Saturday 23rd September with the Cup played at the new indoor Naenae complex. Silverstream Teams for the HV Cup were:

Final Results in the Valley Cup 1st Naenae 18 points, 2nd Silverstream 14, 3rd Petone Central 12, 4th Hutt 8 (-13 differential), 5 th Eastbourne 8 (-22), 6th Stokes Valley 8 (-25), 7th Wainuiomata 4, 8th Upper Hutt 0. Claire Bradburn has been selected to represent NZ in the Asian Championships in Vientiane, Laos over the 5th to 8th October. She will be playing Singles, doubles,triples and competing in a shooting tournament.
Claire has also been selected to represent NZ at the Oceania tournament in Christchurch over 25th to 29th October. This involves Singles, Doubles, Triples, Shooting and Pointing. This has been a busy year for Claire starting with the Trans Tasman 18/19 of March – NZ Won- then the World Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles in Ghent, Belgium over 13th to 16th April. 2018 will probably only have the Trans Tasman in Australia. |
