 | After showing very strong form throughout the completion, Andy and Sharon met a very experienced combination of Kimberley Hemingway and Jessie Macaw from Naenae in the final. After 12 ends the scores were even but over the final ends the Naenae team pulled away with the final score being 17 to 14. This was however a fantastic effort from the two Silverstream second year bowlers. Mention should also be made of the Sonny White and James Florance who made it through to the quarter finals of the men's section before being knocked out. |

Congratulations to Adam Turner, Clare Hendra and Kennie Critchlow who have been selected in the Wellington squad for the Tararua Quadrangular to be played at Kapiti on Sunday 28th January 2018.
Click here for the full team list. The popular three day Hutt New Year Pairs was held on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of January. There were three Silverstream teams entered and after two days the top eight teams played off for the major prize money with the remaining bowlers split into two divisions. The top division was won by Graeme Ricketts and Ian Barrett and the second division was won by Iain Opray and Don McMurray.
