January Competitions

Otaki New Year Melee.

Peter Mathew’s competed in the Otaki New Year Melee on the 6/1/24.
He finished 7th out of 35 competitors. Congratulations!

Khandallah Mixed Doubles.

This was held on the 14th January 2024. Silverstream had three doubles in this.
Results were: 1st Rachel Clarke and Peter Matthews.
4th Theresa and Seymour Harawira.
8th Johnelle and Dan Harawira

​Kapiti Open Doubles
Held on 20 and 21 January 2024
Silverstream had three couples in the Kapiti Open Doubles.
Results were: Theresa and Seymour Harawira lost in the semifinals of the Trophy.
Claire Bradburn and Dan Harawira lost in the semifinals of the Plate
Rachel Clarke and Peter Matthews lost in the semifinals of the Plate.
There were 26 entries.

WPA Interclub Competition
Held on 27/1/ 2024
This was hosted at Horowhenua, with 8 out of the 9 teams in the Wellington Petanque
taking part. A team of 6 represented Silverstream, who finished 5th.
The completion being won by Upper Hutt.
The team was Peter Matthews, Rachel Clarke, Claire Bradburn, Seymour Harawira, Theresa Harawira and Ian Richards.
