 | Our 2015/16 season officially got under way on on a sunny but chilly Sunday 6th September. After the official welcome by Ian Prince (President) and speeches from Pat Christianson (Patron), Wayne Guppy (Mayor), Chris Hipkins MP and Gerry Macgregor (President, Bowls Wellington), our guests threw the first bowls and boules with Chris Hipkins doing the double this year. A light lunch was consumed and Gerry presented Life Member Don McMurray with an award recognising Don's contribution when he was Bowls Wellington President.
