There is no pussy footing around with The Duchess of Silverstream, our club cat.  Not content with running the club and having her own web page, she is now writing articles for our local newspaper and starring in them too!  Follow this link to see the article in the Upper Hutt Leader.  Let's hope that our bowlers and petanquers create some more headlines during the coming season.

All bowls, petanque, casual, social and potential new members are cordially invited to our opening day on Sunday 6th September, starting at 11:00 am.  See you there!  The format is:

1. Welcome by our President, Ian Prince.
2. A few words from our invited guests who are Pat Christianson (Patron), Wayne Guppy (Mayor), Chris Hipkins MP and Gerry Macgregor (President Bowls Wellington).
3. Pat, Wayne and Chris bowl the first bowls and throw the first boules of the new season.
4. Light lunch.  Please bring a plate. 
5. Casual games of bowls and petanque, weather permitting

You can get there via your own Facebook navigation or by clicking on the small green Facebook button on the extreme right of the brown section above this page.  Once on our Facebook Group page, you should see a a button to click to start the joining process.
