Congratulations to the Silverstream men's teams of: Adam Turner - singles. Iain Opray and Edgar Blanche - pairs and Graham Mudgway, Graeme Ricketts, Ian Barrett and Aaron Wall - fours who were successful today at Naenae in gaining promotion to the premier division the Wellington men’s Interclub.
The four clubs involved in the promotion relegation were Silverstream, Lyall Bay, Island Bay and Tawa. There were three rounds of games with the top two teams to go through to the premier division.
After the final game points were as follows:
Island Bay 1st: 12 points (differential plus 46).
Silverstream 2nd: 9 points (differential minus 12).
Tawa 3rd: 8 points (differential minus 19).
Lyall Bay 4th: 7 points (differential minus 15).
